Barinder Woolley is a Legal Director based in Weightmans Manchester office.

Barinder has over 20 years’ experience in defendant litigation, advising on complex high-value claims with a particular expertise in catastrophic injury, as well as malfeasance claims involving police forces across England and Wales.
She has extensive experience advising public sector organisations on claims involving significant injuries (spinal injuries, brain injuries and amputations), complex liability issues and sensitive matters of public importance.

Barinder has provided strategic advice to various police forces on claims relating to false imprisonment, assault, malicious prosecution, negligence and claims arising under the Human Rights Act.

Barinder is also an experienced leader having had responsibility for supervising and developing junior lawyers and claims professionals, providing technical oversight, monitoring and strategic directions on complex litigation.
