Christopher Baker

Christopher is an Associate within the employment, pensions and immigration team in Liverpool. He has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2007. He is an experienced advocate in the Employment Tribunal and represents clients nationally in complex and often sensitive cases across a broad range of employment law including discrimination, dismissal, whistleblowing, trade union detriment, equal pay, pay disputes and contract claims. Christopher has managed significant cases for clients within the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal. His clients include NHS Trusts and organisations within the transport sector.

Christopher regularly advises clients and provides support to their HR teams on a variety of complex and time-sensitive queries including policies, organisational change and disciplinary and grievance issues. He also drafts, negotiates and advises on Settlement Agreements.

Christopher sits on the Liverpool Law Society Employment Law Committee and is a professional mentor to students at the University of Liverpool.
