Dan Rudnick

Dan is an Associate in our commercial litigation team, based in our London office. Dan joined Weightmans from Aaron & Partners LLP in July 2021, just over one year after qualifying. Dan was previously based in our Liverpool office and he continues to work closely with colleagues in our Liverpool and Birmingham offices.

Dan specialises in commercial litigation and has experience of a broad range of disputes, including complex contract disputes, disputes concerning breaches of fiduciary duties and Directors’ duties, and disputes arising from the carriage and storage of goods. Dan has experience of proceedings seeking urgent injunctive relief and insolvency proceedings. Dan has worked on cases of wide-ranging value and complexity in both the County Court and the High Court and has worked on cases with multi-jurisdictional and international elements. Dan also has experience of several methods of alternative dispute resolution including mediation and has helped clients to settle cases both prior to and during litigation.

Dan has acted for a range of clients including private individuals, large national corporations, housing associations, local authorities and universities.

Dan is also a part of Weightmans’ marine law team, acting predominantly on contentious matters for ship operator, logistics and insurer clients, cargo and charterparty issues, and in sale and purchase transactions.
