David ReddingtonPrincipal Associate
David is a Principal Associate (employed barrister) on the healthcare regulatory and inquests team in the London office with over 13 years' experience, having originally practised at the Bar in Ireland. David has a wide range of experience of advising healthcare clients, formerly acting as in-house counsel at the Royal College of Nursing, representing members before the Nursing and Midwifery Council and latterly on the Inquests Team of another national healthcare firm in London, where he specialised in acting for NHS Trusts, including acute and mental health Trusts before HM Coroner.
David has a broad range of experience in appearing before healthcare regulators including the General Medical Council (GMC), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Dental Council (GDC) and General Chiropractic Council (GCC). He is ranked as a 'Key Lawyer' in the esteemed legal directory The Legal 500 in the category of Professional Discipline for 2021.
David's role at Weightmans encompasses a wide range of healthcare matters including representation at inquests, professional discipline and regulation; and health & social care proceeding.
