Emma Cartwright

Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2015 before joining Weightmans' Casualty team in Manchester in September 2018.

Emma’s specialism is occupational stress, bullying and harassment claims acting on behalf of local authorities, insurers and commercial companies from letter of claim through to trial. Her experience also spans to harassment and Equality Act claims made in respect of matters unrelated to the work place.

In addition to occupational stress, Emma has considerable experience dealing with all types of employers liability and public liability claims on behalf of a range of clients, with a particular experience in logistics and construction multi-party claims.

As a co-host of Weightmans’ Wagatha Christie Podcast and a regular deliverer of training, Emma is always keen to explore new ways of sharing insights with clients.
