Emma Gallimore

Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and is an Associate based in our Liverpool office. She works within the Casualty Police team who represent several police forces in England and Wales.

Emma specialises in defending civil actions against the police. She handles a varied caseload of malfeasance claims including negligence, false imprisonment, assault, malicious prosecution and misfeasance actions, claims alleging breaches of the Human Rights Act and Equality Act, as well as employers’ liability claims issued against police forces.

She also regularly advises on data protection matters and judicial review claims issued against police forces.

Emma has ten years’ experience in defending civil actions against the police.
