Gemma Castrofilippo

Gemma is a Principal Associate in the health team based in our Birmingham office.

Gemma has experience of representing both Claimants and Defendants in clinical negligence matters. Following qualification in 2008 she worked for a Claimant firm for 11 years, representing both adults and children in a wide range of claims including those concerning birth injury, wrongful birth, psychiatric injury, delayed diagnosis of cancer, brain injury, prescription errors and representation at inquest.

Subsequently, Gemma has specialised in defending clinical negligence claims against the NHS, representing both trusts and general practitioners. She advises on a range of pre-action and litigated cases, including high value and complex clinical claims.
