James Lazenby

James completed his training contract with Weightmans in September 2022 and is now a solicitor in the private wealth team based in our Leeds office and deals with a variety of private client matters.

James has experience in administering estates including applying for the Grant of Probate or Grant of Letters of Administration on testate and intestate estates as well as administering both taxable and non-taxable estates.

James assists clients with preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising on the operation of Powers. 

James also assists clients in drafting Wills to meet the individual needs of his clients and advising on the operation of inheritance tax.
