Louise Hawkfield

Louise Hawkfield is a Partner and Costs Lawyer. She is Team Manager for the Costs team at Weightmans. Louise has a vast experience of dealing with costs arising from all types of PI and non-PI claims with a specialism in Housing Disrepair costs claims and extensive knowledge of the fixed recoverable costs regimes.

Louise engages with clients from the outset to ensure that costs estimates and reserves are correctly set as well as dealing with costs management during the litigation as and when required.

Louise has provided bespoke training sessions for clients and is a member of the Association of Costs Lawyers keeping at the forefront of all costs issues. She contributes to the responses to government consultations on costs issues including the most recent extension of FRCs where she is the costs subject matter lead for Weightmans internal project group.
