Luiza is a Legal Director specialising in construction and building safety disputes. She is also the Leicester regional office head.
Having started her career as a trainee at Weightmans over a decade ago, Luiza advises employers, contractors and consultants on complex claims, contract management and dispute resolution across the built environment. She has experience in pursuing subrogated and third-party recoveries, including securing early contributions. As Regional Office Head for the Leicester office, Luiza leads the team while maintaining a strong client-facing practice. Known for her approachable style, she partners closely with clients to resolve disputes efficiently and to put robust risk management strategies in place. Outside of work, Luiza is a mother of two daughters and a passionate advocate for accessibility as a SEN parent. This personal perspective drives her commitment to creating inclusive and supportive environments, both in the workplace and beyond.
