Matthew is an Australian-qualified Associate lawyer in our specialty team, based in our London office.
Admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2020, Matthew has experience advising and acting for general insurers, self-insureds and government bodies in the context of property damage, personal injury (including catastrophic injury), professional indemnity and general insurance claims.
Matthew's career has brought him to London where he now focuses on complex insurance and reinsurance disputes.
Prior to joining Weightmans, Matthew was a Senior Associate at one of Australia's largest insurance law firms and a solicitor at a tier-1 international law firm.
He was recognised in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia™, Ones to Watch in two categories, namely Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation.
