Rachael Round is a Legal Director and Chartered Legal Executive (Civil Litigator) based in our Manchester Office.

Having acted for both paying and receiving parties, she brings a balanced, commercially focused approach to managing costs exposure and resolving disputes efficiently.

Rachael's practice spans the full range of contentious costs matters, from fixed costs disputes and routine inter-partes matters, to detailed assessment, costs management and complex, high value litigation.

Rachael has particular expertise in handling and analysing large volumes of data in group litigation, coverage disputes and solicitor-client costs matters. She also has a keen interest in inquest costs, claims for wasted costs and non-party costs orders.

Her clients include private litigants, corporate entities and public bodies. She combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of litigation strategy and regularly advises and provides training to stakeholders on both.
