Sarah MacDonald

Sarah is an experienced and dedicated Costs Professional based in our London office. She has over 27 years’ experience and has a strong history of working in legal practice. Sarah is also skilled in legal advice on all aspects of costs with a Defendant bias.

Sarah also possesses advocacy experience including CCMCs, Mediation and JSMs. In addition to this, Sarah has a wealth of experience in dealing with costs arising out of industrial disease and cross-border claims. Other areas with experience include: Personal Injury, IP, Product Liability, Clinical Negligence and claims for costs against the Police; Costs Budgeting.

Sarah deals with costs arising out of all types of claims, mainly of high value. The largest claim to date was in an intellectual property matter with costs in excess of £19m. In previous roles, Sarah has considered and approved the costs incurred on two Government Inquiries. Sarah has a strong client focus and excellent delivery of service.
