Steve re-joined Weightmans as a Partner in July 2012 having previously been an Associate at the firm eight years before. He has over 30 years' experience acting for a variety of insurers, loss adjusters, local authorities; Administrators and self-insured companies.
Steve primarily defends employers' and public liability cases and has acted in claims of all values across a variety of sectors. He has a particular interest in the legal implications of participation in sporting and leisure activities which carry a degree of inherent risk. He is currently Team Manager for the London Sports Litigation Team which is representing Governing Bodies in relation to concussion litigation.
He also has specialist expertise in Regulatory matters; handling product liability claims involving a wide range of products; Discrimination, and Building Guarantee claims, reflecting his ability to provide wide-ranging and client focussed advice and assistance.
