Biography

Charlotte is a Principal Associate in our family team, advising married and unmarried couples on all aspects of marital and relationship breakdown and private family law.

Charlotte has wide experience in divorce and separation and the financial consequences. She undertakes a full range of financial work, including working on complex and high-value cases as well as cases with limited assets where housing and income needs are a priority.

Charlotte has advised on cases with multiple assets including properties overseas, businesses and trusts in addition to cases with third party involvement. She also advises on agreements which have previously been reached where one party now seeks to vary or enforce the agreement.

Charlotte is experienced in pre and post nuptial agreements as well as cohabitation and separation agreements.

Charlotte also advises parents about arrangements for their children including specific issues such as relocating with a child and choice of schools. She also advises on the associated finances.

Charlotte also regularly advises clients in domestic abuse matters, and has experience in acting for both applicants and respondents to non-molestation order and occupation order applications.

Charlotte is a member of Resolution and is an accredited specialist in Complex Financial Remedies and Domestic Abuse and was named as a key lawyer in the Legal 500 2021.
