Clive is a former general counsel of Severn Trent Water, specialising in water sector law and regulation.
He has 35 years’ experience in the water sector, both in-house and in private practice, and has a detailed knowledge of regulatory and operational matters affecting the water industry. Spending just over two decades at Severn Trent Water, he worked on a wide range of commercial and corporate issues and provided specialist advice on the regulatory provisions governing the sector.
With 15 years in private practice with a dedicated focus on the water sector, Clive not only works with clients in the sector, but also advises businesses in other sectors looking for advice on water and wastewater law and regulation.
Clive is recognised by Legal 500 as a Leading Individual with “…virtually unparalleled regulated water industry experience… an expert in water law”, and is likewise recognised by Chambers as a Band 1 lawyer in the water industry with “an exceptionally detailed knowledge of water law”.
