Weightmans has been recognised as one of the Legal 500’s Most Highly Recommended Law Firms, ranking among the top 10 highest-scoring firms in the North of England based on direct client feedback.

The new ranking is derived from Legal 500’s annual research programme, which gathers views from hundreds of thousands of clients across the legal sector. Weightmans placed ninth among northern firms after clients were asked how likely they would be to recommend the firm.

The analysis is based on more than 3,400 client responses and uses Net Promoter Score (NPS) methodology – a widely recognised measure of client satisfaction and loyalty – to benchmark firms against their peers.

Amy Ulliott, UK Editor at Legal 500, said:

"In a highly competitive legal market, there is no stronger endorsement than a client's willingness to recommend their law firm. Client feedback sits at the heart of Legal 500's research, and this analysis provides a unique insight into the firms earning the highest levels of trust and advocacy from the people they serve. Beyond the rankings, this data helps firms better understand market perception, benchmark performance, and identify opportunities for growth."

Sarah Walton, Managing Partner at Weightmans, said:

“We are delighted to be recognised by Legal 500 as one of the UK’s most highly recommended law firms. This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based on feedback from our clients and is testament to our unwavering focus on client delivery and the strength of the relationships we have built across our client base.

“We continue to invest in technology, innovation and client-led solutions that help us deliver greater value, efficiency and insight. To see that commitment reflected in the experiences of our clients is something of which we are incredibly proud.”

To be included in the rankings, firms were required to hold multiple Legal 500 rankings and receive a minimum number of client responses, ensuring the results reflect a robust and representative sample of client opinion.
