Weightmans appointed to LLG's new MO defence panel

LLG has announced the appointment of Weightmans, Anthony Collins and VWV to the LLG MO Defence Panel.

LLG welcomed all three firms to the panel, who will utilise their vast experience in local government law and practice to support our member monitoring officers and their deputies.

Rachel McKoy, President of LLG said “It is increasingly important when we see evidence from public interest reports and listen to our own members that the vital position of monitoring officers in carrying out their role is protected and supported. The experience and expertise brought by our new Panel members will be invaluable in ensuring that monitoring officers do not suffer detriment when upholding governance and the rule of law”.
