Dave specialises in catastrophic injury cases including brain injury, spinal injury and amputation. He deals with motor, employers' liability and highways cases. He acts for a large number of local authorities on maximum severity claims.

He is a member of the Law Society and FOIL. He was an assistant solicitor at Eking Manning, and appointed to partner in 1994. Dave joined Weightmans in 1999.
