Josh Fowler

Josh is a solicitor in the International Private Wealth team based in London advising private clients on a range of personal issues. He advises individuals, families and trustees on all aspects of domestic and international succession and estate planning as well as the drafting of documents including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust documents.

Josh has particular experience advising international clients including carrying out detailed reviews of complex domicile and tax residence positions. He takes a holistic approach in providing guidance to internationally mobile clients looking to relocate to or from the UK including advising on the Statutory Residence Test, remittance basis of taxation, domicile, UK taxes, double tax treaties and cross-border succession laws. Josh has advised on a number of complex international structures involving a number of jurisdictions including Jersey, Guernsey, the US, UAE and EU jurisdictions.

Josh also advises a number of high net worth UK clients on their estate planning options when considering asset protection and generational succession planning. He prides himself on considering the practical implications for clients and their families especially where there are complex family structures.
