Parking and arrival
  • Weightmans Glasgow is on the corner of Douglas Street and Cadogan Street. There is metered on-street parking in both Cadogan Street and Douglas Street, with Waterloo Street Q Park and Cadogan Square Car Park within a short distance. If you use what3words:  pinch.guilty.affair.
  • Cadogan Street also has 2 accessible spaces.  Alternatively, there is a dropped kerb on Douglas Street which will give access to a ramp taking you directly into the ground floor if being dropped off. 
  • Weightmans staff assistance can be available if advised in advance.

Building access
  • Access is via steps (corner Cadogan Street/Doulgas Street) or ramp on Douglas Street, with 2 sets of automatic doors taking you into the ground floor reception area of The Ink Building.
  • A Lift with a weight limit is 1000kg or 13 persons goes up to 7th floor. The lift doors are 88cm wide.
  • If assistance is required to access the steps or ramp, please inform your Weightmans contact who will arrange for help to meet you.
Interior navigation
  • On exiting the lift on 7th floor, access to the client suite is gained through 2 sets of double doors where you will find Weightmans reception. Doors open fully to 168cm wide.
  • Lighting in the meeting rooms is controlled by movement sensors however, visitors using meeting rooms will be able to turn the lights on and off.
  • Doors to all meeting rooms are 90cm wide.
  • There is level access to the toilets in the communal building space, accessible toilets are located on the 6th floor and Basement accessed via lift. The basement is a self-contained space as shown below.
Amenities & Facilities
  • We have a wellness room available within the office. This is a quiet space with informal seating.
  • There is an accessible kitchen in the office.
  • Accessible/all gender toilets are within the 6th floor and basement areas, accessible via the lifts.
  • The basement has a self-contained accessible toilet cubicle, door width of 90cm and space for a wheelchair, sink and hand dryer.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.

By train

Glasgow has two main train stations:

  • Glasgow Central Station — about a 10-minute walk away.
  • Glasgow Queen Street Station — around a 15-minute walk.

The nearest station to the office is Anderston (on the westbound Low Level Line from Glasgow Central) — about a 6-minute walk to the office.

By subway

The nearest subway stations:

  • St Enoch, around a 12-minute walk from the office.
  • Buchanan Street, around a 13-minute walk from the office.

The Glasgow Subway runs every 4 minutes at peak times.

By bus

The closest bus stops to Douglas Street are on Waterloo Street and Argyle Street. For live timetables, visit the First Bus website.

The office is approximately 20-minute walk from Glasgow’s main bus station, Buchanan Street Bus Station.

By car

The office is easily accessible from the M8 motorway. Use Junction 18 (eastbound) or Junction 19 (westbound) for the city centre.

Nearby parking options include Cadogan Street Car Park, Q-Park Waterloo Street and NCP Glasgow Central. Glasgow operates a Low Emission Zone (LEZ), so check compliance before travelling.

On-street parking is available adjacent to the office, payable at the on-street machines or by the RingGo app.

By air

Glasgow Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by taxi. The First Bus Glasgow Airport Express runs every 10 minutes to Buchanan Bus Station, from which it’s a short taxi or subway ride or 20-minute walk to the office. The nearest stop for alighting for the office is Waterloo Street (a 3-minute walk to the office).
