Rebecca is a Principal Associate in the Healthcare team based in the Cardiff office.

Rebecca previously worked as a claimant clinical negligence lawyer until 2022, when she then moved to join the Weightmans Healthcare team. She has since specialised in defending clinical negligence claims against the NHS, representing both trusts and GPs.

Rebecca brings insight from almost 10 years of working as a claimant clinical negligence solicitor, taking a balanced and pragmatic approach to defending and resolving claims. She advises on both pre-action and litigated cases across a breadth of areas, including complex, high value claims involving birth injury, brain injury and spinal injury.  She also has experience in advising NHS trusts in respect of the Early Notification Scheme and investigations arising from the same. Rebecca supervises and mentors junior colleagues and also delivers training externally.
