3 November 2025 | Weightmans, The Hallmark Building, London
The Government’s refresh of the National Procurement Policy Statement (NPPS) was released in February 2025 alongside commencement of the Procurement Act 2023. The NPPS sets out the Government’s priorities and expectations for procurement to meet policy objectives by improving access to markets for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), driving social value and economic growth and championing innovation.
Speakers at this event will clarify the social value objectives and outline considerations as well as practical steps your business can take to adequately cover the three aspects of social value outlined in the government’s guidance:
- economic (e.g. employment or training opportunities)
- social (e.g. activities that promote cohesive communities) and
- environmental (e.g. efforts to reduce carbon emissions)
This will be an interactive discussion and speakers will allow time for questions.
