Violence against women and girls (VAWG) remains one of the most urgent challenges facing society and the policing profession. In recent years, the role of the police in both preventing and, heartbreakingly, sometimes perpetrating such violence has come under intense scrutiny.
This conference brings together experts, practitioners, and legal professionals at the forefront of driving cultural and procedural change within policing. Our focus: how the conduct and vetting regime can be harnessed as a real force for reform.
