Challenging violence against women and girls through the police conduct and vetting regime
The police service, like the rest of society, has faced great challenges in combating violence against women and girls over the last few years. Tragically some of that shameful behaviour has been committed by police officers. Professional Standards Departments across the United Kingdom have responded to that challenge, a challenge that continues. You are invited to this conference to discuss and share your thoughts upon this vitally important subject with like minded professionals. The discussion will be practical and of assistance to officers and staff in Professional Standards Departments and to police lawyers. We look forward to seeing you there.
We are hosting this at both London and Manchester venues.
