Prestigious recognition highlights firm’s leadership in private wealth law
Weightmans has again been included in the 2025 eprivateclient Top Law Firms list - a detailed and highly regarded ranking of the UK’s leading private wealth-focused law firms and departments.
The annual list aims to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the very best in private wealth law, surveying over 150 firms nationwide. Rankings are based on comprehensive data including the number of partners, fee earners, total staff, overall fee income, and the proportion of fee income generated from private client work.
This latest accolade follows a series of recent successes for the firm’s private wealth team. Two of Weightmans’ leading private client lawyers, Jonathan Shankland and Richard Bate, have once again been named in the prestigious Spear’s Tax & Trust Advisers Index. In addition, family lawyers Emma Collins and Carole Atkinson are recommended in the renowned Spear’s 500 guide, further demonstrating the team’s depth of talent and expertise.
Emma Collins, Partner and Head of Individuals, commented:
“This recognition reflects our team's expertise and strong client satisfaction. Being named among the 2025 eprivateclient Top Law Firms reflects our reputation for trusted, innovative advice to HNWs, UHNWIs and family offices across the UK and internationally.”
