Alexander Darrah

Alexander is a complex insurance fraud specialist, handling matters valued up to £300,000. Alexander has extensive experience in dealing with staged and induced collisions, exaggerated claims, bogus passengers and low velocity impacts. He currently acts on behalf of several of the top ten motor insurers in the UK and is in addition a seasoned handler of Uninsured matters for the Motor Insurers’ Bureau.

Alexander has had numerous success at court in findings of fundamental dishonesty and applications to set aside QOCS thereby recovering the client’s costs, he also undertakes Advocacy for the motor department as a whole.

Alexander also focusses in sanctions and recovery of monies from claimants whose claims have been struck out, discontinued or lost at trial. This can include bringing contempt of court proceedings, charging orders placed on parties’ properties, attachment of earnings, statutory demands and bankruptcy proceedings.
