Alexzandra Kennedy is an Associate in our Regulatory Healthcare Advisory team, based in our Leeds office. She qualified as a Solicitor in March 2018. 

Alexzandra advocates for hospital trusts and care homes at inquests. She also advises on Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty (children), serious medical treatment cases, general healthcare advisory and mental health matters. She moved to Weightmans in September 2024 bringing several years’ experience in public law children proceedings, representing Local Authorities, parents and the child(ren) via their Cafcass guardian. She has experience advising on mental health, capacity/cognitive issues/learning difficulties/ alcohol & drug issues, domestic abuse, serious non-accidental injuries. She had an accredited Children’s Panel certificate to represent the children (now lapsed).
