Andrew Currah became a costs draftsman in 1994, and has developed a reputation for reliability and attention to detail in all aspects of costs disputes. His previous employment by independent costing practices gives him a rounded view on costs issues, and as Litigation Costs Manager at a national firm of solicitors for 7 years, he handled a large commercial caseload and developed a particular interest in costs arising from professional negligence cases. Andrew is an experienced advocate, having appeared in the Senior Courts Costs Office and the House of Lords (as it then was). In 2008 he obtained the highest mark nationally in passing the Fellowship examination of the Association of Costs Lawyers (ACL). He was made a Costs Lawyer in 2009. Having joined Weightmans in 2010, Andrew was promoted to Associate in 2013, and sits within the Niche Costs team at the firm.
