Biography

Antony is a highly experienced family solicitor with over 20 years practicing exclusively in family law. As an accredited mediator, collaborative lawyer, Resolution-accredited specialist and member of the Law Society Advanced family panel, he is regularly instructed by other lawyers and professionals to resolve the most complex and challenging family breakdowns.

His skillset and specialism in both finance and children matters enables him to provide both tailored and holistic solutions that create the best possible outcomes for his clients and their families.

Antony has a particular interest in complex financial cases involving pre-marital assets, inherited wealth as well as company and partnership issues. His clients have ranged from directors in both private and public companies, property developers, farmers, sportspersons and other professionals who praise his pragmatic and commercial approach mixed with his ability to think creatively about solutions. He is also regularly instructed in wealth protection and the drafting of pre and post nuptial agreements as well as cohabitation agreements where sensitive negotiation is essential.

Antony is well known for his empathy, support and clear strategic thinking that delivers results and is frequently sought out by parents and grandparents to advise in children cases involving elements of abuse, parental alienation and substance or alcohol misuse. He is a robust and thorough advocate respected by the judiciary and known for going that extra mile for his clients.

As an active member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers, Antony is part of their Drafting Committee responsible for the creation of Consent Order precedents and agreements. He has also been the liaison officer for the Three Counties Collaborative group for over six years and a member of the Northern Lights group providing dispute resolution training to legal professionals across the North of England.
