Beth Williams

Beth joined Weightmans in December 2017 and has significant experience in acting for the social housing sector, having almost exclusively serviced this sector throughout her career to date.

She advises on property acquisitions and disposals, with a specific focus on the acquisition of sites for housing development. Her experience includes land acquisitions, package deals, development agreements, turn-key, golden brick agreements and s106 acquisitions. She also deals with all ancillary matters such as easements, infrastructure and statutory agreements, option agreements and overage agreements. She prepares acquired sites ready for disposal by our plot sales team and advises on affordable housing products. She also acts for registered providers in asset purchases, stock rationalisations, landlord and tenant matters and has significant experience in securitisation projects.

Recent experience includes acting for a registered provider in the acquisition of site for development of 250 units for a range of tenure, and leading on the stock acquisition of 200 affordable units from another Registered Provider.
