Chris qualified in 2010 and works from our Leeds office. Chris deals with a range of employment tribunal claims, and undertakes multiple day hearings in the Employment Tribunals in England, Scotland and Wales, as well as conducting Judicial Mediation. He has also appeared in the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
In addition, Chris advises on issues including disciplinaries, performance capability and sickness absence cases, grievances, holiday pay, flexible work requests, discrimination, industrial relations, Trade Union recognition and TUPE matters. Chris has experience of dealing with both public and private sector clients for contentious and non-contentious matters. He also provides employment support on corporate transactions/acquisitions.
Chris provides strategic advice on restrictive covenants and contractual disputes, to achieve pragmatic dispute resolutions.
Chris regularly presents training on a variety of topics at Weightmans legal seminars and also in-house for clients.
