Dei trained at Weightmans and qualified as a solicitor in 2006. He is an associate, specialising in pensions law.

He has particular expertise of the interface between employment and pensions - for example TUPE related issues, transfers from the public sector, business reorganisations, outsourcing arrangements, sales, purchases and changes to terms and conditions involving 'Fair Deal' and TUPE.

Dei advises a wide range of organisations in the private sector including multinational companies, smaller businesses and pension scheme trustees. In the public sector he advises a number regional police forces, local authorities, housing associations and FE colleges.

He also regularly provides external and internal training to a range of organisations.
