Eleanor Baird

Eleanor is a Principal Associate in the firm’s corporate department, based in the Newcastle office. Eleanor specialises in advising on corporate transactions including acquisitions and disposals, private equity investments, group reorganisations, joint ventures and general corporate governance advice. 

Eleanor has spent the last three years working in-house for transport company Arriva PLC where she advised on tenders, general corporate governance and M&A activity for Arriva’s mainland Europe division.

Advising the shareholders of The Car People Limited on the sale to Sytner Group.

Advising investee company Orchidsoft Limited on its investment from Northstar and Maven Capital Partners (nominated for Private Equity/ Venture Capital Deal of the Year at the 2018 Dealmaker Awards).
