Emma qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 at Squire Patton Boggs and joined Weightmans in 2014. Emma works for a wide variety of clients across the private, public, and insurance sectors, and has experience in all types of commercial dispute including claims based in contract, tort, statue, and equity.
In addition to her broad experience of general commercial disputes, Emma has particular experience of more specialist disputes including breach of intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, design rights, and software licensing), defamation and harassment, and breach of confidence claims concerning the disclosure of highly sensitive confidential information and personal data. Emma also has significant experience in insolvency and finance litigation including pension disputes. Emma is a confident advocate and has conducted all types of interim hearings.
