Admitted in 1982, Fiona has been a partner since 1986 and joined Weightmans in 2011.

Fiona is head of the product liability team with over 25 years' experience of claims arising out of the Sale of Goods and Consumer Protection Acts and prosecutions under the General Product Safety Regulations. She is experienced in a range of legal, commercial and reputational issues in connection with product recalls and is sensitive to issues around supplier relationships and customer relations. She has a particular specialism relating to the automotive industry. She defends personal injury and property claims resulting from alleged failed components, unsafe products in the workplace and a diverse range of other consumer products.

Fiona also specialises in other defendant litigation in particular employers liability and road traffic accidents.

Fiona is author of the England and Wales Chapter of the Product Regulation and Liability Review book.

She regularly gives presentations and seminars.

Fiona was appointed non-executive Director of Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Trust in 1996.
