Ingrid is an employment law specialist with significant experience in the legal profession. She understands that the human element of any situation can be paramount when advising clients in an employment context and shapes the advice given to suit the commercial outcome required. Her expertise is split between contentious and non-contentious employment work.
Ingrid was heavily involved in her previous firm’s sales and growth strategy in Scotland and London, assisting with the training and supervision of the employment team and development of cross-selling opportunities, gaining huge insight and experience into the sales cycle.
She covers all areas of non-contentious employment law but has particular experience in redundancies, restructuring/reorganisation, senior executive/management disputes and providing employment support to corporate and real estate teams in respect of TUPE, due diligence and drafting and negotiating indemnities and warranties as part of any share, business and/or asset purchase.
Ingrid has always conducted her own advocacy and manages tribunal claims ranging from areas of unfair dismissal, protected disclosures, disability discrimination, redundancy and re-organisations, sex discrimination, TUPE and wasted costs. Ingrid has helped many clients with strategic planning and is pragmatic, personable and solutions-focused.
