James Clarkson joined the Weightmans Wills, Tax, Trust and Probate team in the Leeds office in June 2016 as a newly qualified solicitor and has worked exclusively within private client law.

James deals with all aspects of private client work including Wills, powers of attorney, estate planning, deputyship and estate administration. James additionally assists in the administration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Deputyships when a professional attorney/deputy has been appointed to act on behalf of an individual.

Client satisfaction is of paramount importance to James who is committed to providing an efficient and personal service to his clients.

James is currently studying to become a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
