Jennifer Forster

Jen is a highly experienced Partner in our Manchester motor team, having qualified as a solicitor in 2001.

Jen specialises in serious injury claims arising from road traffic accidents. She has expertise in handling claims involving major orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, fatal accidents, and cases involving secondary victims.

Jen acted for Motor Insurers’ Bureau for many years, and regularly advises on issues of policy coverage and indemnity. She is also well versed in handling claims involving liability disputes, causation issues, cross-border litigation and Part 20 claims for losses and contribution.

Jen started her career as a claimant solicitor dealing with serious injury claims and this is where she cultivated her skills in client care, always engaging with her clients sensitively and empathetically.

Jen’s depth of experience and personable approach enables her to foster strong relationships with clients, brokers and opponents alike. She is pragmatic and approachable.

Having worked in motor insurance claims for over 20 years, Jen has seen a lot of changes across the industry. She is a leader of change and continuous business improvement, and is passionate about challenging internal processes where appropriate to ensure that excellent service standards are upheld.

Jen regularly delivers training and workshops to clients.
