Formerly of Myton Law, John is a shipping lawyer who focuses on disputes arising out of carriage of goods by road, sea, air and rail, including freight forwarders' rights and obligations; and insurance coverage work, both marine and non-marine, especially, in recent years, commercial property policies, including the law with regard to insurance brokers; international trade; drafting commercial agreements such as sales/purchase conditions and agency agreements.
His shipping work is focused on disputes under bills of lading, waybills and charter parties including anti suit injunctions and world wide freezing orders both in court and in arbitration proceedings.
