Katarina qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 and became an Associate in October 2025. She is based in Manchester.
Katarina handles clinical negligence matters. Her scope of work includes high value complex cases, a great proportion of them being severe brain injuries claims in children and adults, cauda equina, and birth injury claims. Since the establishment of the internal Sodium Valproate team within the Healthcare Department, she has been member of the team assisting with these complex very niche historical claims. She is also handling claims on behalf of care homes and GPs. Her case load consists of multi-track litigated and non-litigated claims. She has extensive experience with claims involving a variety of medical conditions, including causa equina, stroke, oncology, gynaecology, colorectal, and paediatric. Katarina also provides teaching sessions to medical doctors at various levels to enhance their knowledge on medical law and clinical negligence claims.
