Linzi qualified as a solicitor with Weightmans in 2013 and began her career in family law at Merrick before joining Gorvins in 2015 and returning to Weightmans family law team in March 2017. As a solicitor in the family department, Linzi advises clients on all aspects of relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial settlements arising from divorce and separation, cohabitation disputes and issues relating to children and domestic abuse.

Linzi is passionate about family law and aims to provide clear and constructive advice to assist clients to resolve matters as quickly and amicably as possible, adopting a constructive and conciliatory approach consistent with Resolution’s Code of Conduct.

By adopting a pragmatic style Linzi has successfully achieved negotiated settlements on behalf of clients outside of Court proceedings where possible, often involving complex property or business interests, in an attempt to save clients’ money and ensure that legal fees do not outweigh the assets available.
