Michael Drapala

Michael joined Weightmans in October 2017, following cross-qualification as a solicitor, having previously been called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2007. A member of Weightmans' Liverpool real estate team, Michael has extensive experience in the retail and leisure sector, and a growing practice in utilities.

While his focus is commercial landlord & tenant work, Michael also deals with freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, licences and easements. Michael also provides valuable real estate support on corporate transactions, in particular for Weightmans’ Owner-Managed Businesses offering. Recent highlights include the acquisition of a multiphased leasehold of c.50,000 sq ft in Liverpool city centre.
