Former partner of Ford & Warren solicitors, Michelle's area of expertise is corporate & commercial work including MBOs, MBIs, M&As, shareholder issues, commercial agreements, including both bespoke and standard terms and conditions, franchises, agency supply, distribution, maintenance and repairs, director's duties, partnerships, LLPs and governance issues. Michelle also has considerable experience in working with third sector social enterprises and charities, advising upon their constitutions and incorporation and setting up structures such as CIOs. Michelle also advises on FCA registration and business obligations under the related regulations.
Michelle graduated from Leeds University with a first class honours degree, and has since channelled her energies into providing excellent corporate and commercial services to clients. She is as successful in transactional corporate matters as she is with the intricate drafting necessary to maximise advantages for the client in all their commercial documentation, whether that be standard terms and conditions or bespoke intricate drafting.
Starting from 1 May 2017, Michelle is now the segment head for OMBs in Leeds and will lead the Leeds partners in providing a bespoke service for these clients.
