Michelle is a Partner in the planning & infrastructure team specialising in planning, highways and compulsory purchase law and has gained this experience working in both the private and public sectors.

Michelle specialises in major regeneration and infrastructure projects and she has significant experience in delivering projects including those requiring CPO for public sector clients, developers, objectors and statutory undertakers. Michelle has advised on numerous DCOs across the country for energy, highways and infrastructure projects acting for statutory undertakers, local authorities and objectors.

Michelle has advised on high profile projects including the forward funded delivery of infrastructure for a public sector client to unlock residential and employment uses in South West Rugby. She has also provided strategic advice for a local government client to deliver a number of regeneration schemes in London.

Michelle has a particular interest in minerals and waste planning as well as the law relating to environmental impact assessments and highways.

Michelle is ranked in Chambers & Partners and was ranked as a Next Generation Partner in the Legal 500.
