Morag is a highly experienced employment lawyer, having specialised exclusively in this field since 2000. She advises businesses and senior executives across a broad range of sectors on the full range of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, redundancy and re-organisation, TUPE and whistleblowing. Clear and concise, Morag is recognised for her ability to put complex advice into its most easily understood format.
Morag has a particular interest in contentious work, especially cases involving discrimination of any kind. She has very extensive experience of appearing in the Employment Tribunal throughout the UK, and a history of having acted for both employers and employees means that she has a particular ability to see and understand issues from multiple perspectives.
The range and depth of Morag’s experience allows her to identify strategic issues at an early point in proceedings. Morag is highly adept at delivering pragmatic commercial solutions which best meet her client’s needs, but she is also recognised for her tenacity and determination where full blown litigations are unavoidable.
Morag regularly contributes to broadcasts on Radio Scotland about employment law developments. She provides employment law training to employers, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
