Noor Miah

Noor is an associate solicitor who is part of our Midlands disease team. He qualified in 2015 and has been practising personal injury since 2011.

Noor specialises in occupational disease claims across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, transport & logistics, retail, leisure and hospitality sectors.

Noor specialises in all types of multi-track and high-value litigation and has acted for insurance intermediaries defending occupational disease claims including, carpal tunnel syndrome, hand arm vibration syndrome, asbestos induced pleural thickening, noise induced hearing loss, occupational stress claims, skin disease, occupational asthma, cumulative back and various repetitive strain injuries.

Work highlights include successfully defending a claim to trial for Plantar Fasciitis against a major car manufacturer and securing costs orders against Third Party solicitors. Noor is assisting in legacy claims dealing with asymptomatic platinum sensitisation claims following the Supreme Court decision in Dryden et al.

Noor has formed strong client relationships and is able to advise on claim strategies and legacy risks to avoid floodgates.
