Robert Crossingham



Robert joined Weightmans as a partner in 2008 and is based in the London office. He originally qualified as a barrister, and has practised exclusively in the professional indemnity, and professional liability and disciplinary fields since qualifying.

He has acted for all manner of professionals during his career, including surveyors, solicitors, financial advisers, accountants, and construction professionals, as well as lettings and estate agents, auctioneers, planning consultants, IT consultants and agricultural scientists.

He also acts for professionals in connection with disciplinary and regulatory matters, and has recent experience representing clients before the ARB, ACCA and RICS. He sits on the professional disciplinary panel of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

He is regularly instructed to advise and represent insurers in complex and high value policy coverage matters.

Robert has higher rights of audience in all courts, and is an accredited mediator.

He is consistently recommended in his field by Legal 500.
