Sam is an Associate in our Healthcare team based in our Liverpool office.
Sam joined Weightmans as a solicitor in the Liverpool Healthcare team in 2022. Sam specialises in defendant clinical negligence litigation on behalf of NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and individual clinicians. Sam has experience across a range of clinical negligence claims including but not limited to neurology, oncology, psychiatry, obstetrics and general practice. Sam manages a varied caseload of NHS claims including claims involving protected parties, fatal claims and claims under the Human Rights Act. Sam also assists partners with high value, complex and sensitive claims including maximum severity brain injury claims.
Sam has experience working on claims involving multiple defendants; media interest; litigants in person; and claims involving complex issues of causation and quantum.
