Formerly of Myton Law, Scott specialises in the shipping and commercial road transport sectors. He became a solicitor in 1993.
He is a very experienced investigator of marine and transport related accidents where he is often appointed in the aftermath of an incident to undertake the initial investigation, preserve evidence, liaise with regulatory authorities and handle any ensuing civil or criminal litigation. As such, Scott is used to dealing with the Maritime & Coastguard Agency, Marine Accident Investigation Branch, Health & Safety Executive and Traffic Commissioner.
Scott also assists clients with a broad range of general commercial and maritime litigation/dispute resolution as well as advising on non-contentious commercial matters such as contract drafting and insurance issues.
