For over 17 years, Simon has specialised in policy coverage and related disputes, acting exclusively for insurers.

Simon has considerable experience in a wide range of property and casualty work. His broad practice includes property damage losses (both first and third party, often relating to construction and engineering risks), product liability/recall claims spanning the construction, technology, medical and food/drink sectors, public liability claims involving SMEs, large multinationals, local authorities and educational establishments.

Simon also has extensive non-contentious insurance experience – recently, he was retained by a major London Market insurer to create a suite of modular insurance products covering first party property and business interruption, healthcare, cyber, professional liability, contractors all risks and management liability.

He is listed in the Legal 500 as a 'brilliant' key individual, 'a property and casualty expert' (Insurance and Reinsurance Litigation) and 'a key contact for insurers' (Product Liability: Defendant).
